Our Mission
Just about everybody knows, or can rattle off, what is wrong with our society today. But no one appears to have a solution, as things continue for the worse. With our predicament in mind, we of Umuevu heritage, here in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area, have rolled up our sleeves to put our backs, collectively and severally, to it, in an attempt to force a head on conclusion with our generations menacingly bleak future.
Given that the task ahead is humongous, and the strength in number cannot be over-emphasized, we of Umuevu lineage, resident in the Washington, DC Metropolitan of the United States of America, decided to put to the test the old age axiom: “Many hands make light work.”
For this reason this web site was created. Tapping in on its universal reach, we plan to accomplish the following:
(1) Fish out, summon, and amass every able Umuevunite, man, woman, boy, girl, old, or young the world over under the one tent in readiness for the challenge ahead.
(2) Heighten, to the nth degree, the awareness that the condition will not go away by itself except we all lift a hand and do something about it, in agreement to Newton’s Law of motion.
(3) Identify the problem areas and deal with them according to the dictates of our purse and ability, ensuring that whatever we do will have done our very best. We have our eye on improving the standard of living. By our reckoning, this may include health, education, employment, and most importantly, security.
(4) By the medium of this web site, we will encourage networking. It will serve as a global assembly hall where those with problems may meet those in the position to render assistance. Furthermore, communication between and among registered members, through the site’s board, will be easy and free of charge.
All things considered, this lofty and ambitions undertaking will only take off, fly, or crash according to the time, will, energy, money, love, and the sense of responsibility we invest in it.
It’s our hope that if we take care of our little corner of the world, and every other community follows suit, given the infectious nature of success, the world is bound to be a better place.
